Written like a father

As a father, I encourage my children to read and laugh a lot. After all, happiness is a choice that starts at the top. I always tell them that every good thing in life takes time to grow, just like planting seeds. And when people meet me, I try to make them feel comfortable and welcome, so that they can break out of their shy shell.I believe that love is for all, and I always greet everyone with warmth and kindness. Watching boats sail upon the sea, I'm reminded that life is like a journey, and we must enjoy every moment of it. As a father, I have learned to give up the bad and focus on the good, and that is what I teach my children too.Finally, when we sit down for a cup of tea and a piece of pudding, I remind my children that life is not just about achieving success, but it's also about enjoying the little moments that make life worth living.

As a mother, I cannot stress enough the importance of embracing the simple joys in life. Reading and laughing together as a family is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves. It sets the tone for a happy and fulfilling life. As I watch my children grow, I realize that happiness truly starts at the top. It is up to us as parents to create a positive environment that fosters love and laughter.With time, we can plant seeds of kindness and understanding in our children, teaching them the value of empathy and acceptance. And as the years go by, we will see the benefits of this nurturing. The people who meet us will be drawn to our warmth and kindness. Our children will grow into compassionate and respectful adults.Love is the foundation that holds our family together. It is for all of us, without exception, and should be celebrated as such. Just like boats sailing upon the sea, we must navigate the ups and downs of life together, using love as our compass.As a mother, I am committed to letting go of negativity and embracing the good in life. I strive to be an example to my children of what it means to let go of bad thoughts and focus on the positive. And what better way to do this than over a cup of tea and a delicious piece of pudding? It's the simple things, after all, that bring the greatest joy.

Ellie the elephant

Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there lived a little elephant named Ellie. Ellie was very different from all the other elephants in her herd. She had a long trunk, big ears, and a small tail. Her fellow elephants seemed to be very bothered by Ellie's unique look, and none of them wanted to play with her.

One day, while Ellie was wandering in the forest, she stumbled upon a wise old owl who was sitting on a tree branch. The owl noticed that Ellie was feeling very sad, and asked her why.

"I'm not like the other elephants in my herd, and nobody wants to play with me," Ellie said, tears rolling down her cheeks.

The owl looked at Ellie and smiled. "Ellie, my dear, you are special. You have something that nobody else in your herd has. It's what makes you unique, and it's what makes you who you are."

Ellie looked at the owl, puzzled.

"You have a long trunk that can reach the highest branches of the trees and grab the juiciest fruits. You have big ears so you can hear all the sounds of the forest. And you have a small tail that allows you to move swiftly through the jungle," the owl explained.

Ellie thought about what the owl had said, and she realized that she did have special gifts. She started to see herself in a different light, and her self-esteem grew.

The next day, when Ellie returned to her herd, she noticed that all the other elephants were huddled together, trying to reach a group of delicious fruits that were hanging high up in a tree. Ellie decided to use her long trunk to help her fellow elephants reach the fruits. As she did this, the other elephants started to appreciate her unique qualities, and they began to play with her.

From that day on, Ellie was no longer alone. She had found her place in the herd, with her special qualities making her stand out. And she realized that being different wasn't a bad thing after all. In fact, it was something to be proud of.

Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom, there lived a tiny fairy named Pixie. She was the most adventurous fairy in the kingdom and was always looking for new lands to discover.One bright and sunny day, Pixie decided to fly to the enchanted forest. It was her first time visiting the forest, and she had heard that it was a mysterious place filled with secrets and hidden treasures.As Pixie flew into the forest, she saw that the trees were taller, and their leaves shone in the sunlight. The flowers were in full bloom and their sweet scent filled the air. Pixie felt a sense of wonder and excitement like she had never felt before.As she was flying around, Pixie suddenly heard a distant sound. It sounded like a soft melody, and she was curious to find out where it was coming from. She followed the sound, and soon she came across a group of animals.The animals were gathered around a turtle who was playing a harp. Pixie was amazed to see a turtle playing music and was delighted to hear his beautiful tune. Once upon a time, there was a woman named Heather. She was a beautiful woman with long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. Heather worked as a nurse, dedicating her time to caring for her patients. She was loved by all those who met her.Heather lived alone and drove a bright red car. Whenever she drove to work, people would turn their heads to get a better look at her car. It stood out like a beacon on the road. Heather liked her car, and it seemed to reflect her personality vibrant and full of life.One day, as Heather was driving home from work, she noticed a young boy on the side of the road. He was hunched over, holding his arm, and he looked like he was in a lot of pain. Heather pulled over and got out of her car to see if she could help.The boy had fallen off his bike, and his arm was badly bruised. Heather assessed the boy's injury and bandaged it up, talking to him gently all the while. Her kind words and bright smile helped the boy feel better, and he was soon laughing and talking with her.As she drove away that day, Heather felt a sense of warmth inside her. Felix

 Once upon a time, there was a curious cat named Felix. One day, Felix wandered outside of his cozy home and stumbled upon a hidden garden. The garden was full of vibrant flowers, tall trees, and buzzing bees. Felix was amazed by the beauty of the garden and decided to explore further.

As he walked through the garden, he noticed the birds chirping and the sound of a babbling brook. Felix wanted to see where the sound was coming from, so he followed it until he found a small pond. The pond was crystal clear, and he could see fish swimming underneath the surface.

Suddenly, Felix heard a rustling in the bushes nearby. He became frightened and quickly ran back to his home. When he arrived, he realized that he had left his collar in the garden. Despite his fear, Felix decided to go back and get his collar.

He walked bravely back to the garden, and when he arrived, he saw a small rabbit hiding in the bushes. The rabbit was also scared, and Felix realized that he had nothing to be afraid of. He picked up his collar and walked back home, feeling proud of himself for his bravery.

From that day on, Felix visited the hidden garden every day and made friends with all of the creatures he met. He learned that sometimes what seems scary at first can end up being something wonderful.

While it's true that Australia is home to some of the most dangerous animals in the world, it's important to note encounters can be bad so learn how to protect yourself.

Venomous snakes are a common danger in Australia. They include the Eastern Brown Snake, the Inland Taipan, and the Coastal Taipan, and they are known for their highly venomous bites that can be fatal if left untreated. Spiders like the Sydney Funnel-web Spider and the Redback Spider are also known to cause serious harm, with their toxic bites leading to severe muscle pain, seizures, and even death.

Jellyfish are prevalent in Australian waters and include the deadly box jellyfish, which can cause a heart attack within minutes of its sting. The saltwater crocodile is one of the largest and most aggressive crocodile species in the world, and can grow up to six meters long. They are known to attack humans who venture too closely to their habitat.

memories

 In loving memory

Donny was a bushman who lived in the outskirts of Gundagai with his two loyal dogs, Bessy and Teddy. Each dog had their unique attributes that helped Donny survive in the wild. Bessy was his constant companion, and like all farm dogs, she was protective of Donny and the homestead. Teddy, on the other hand, would accompany Donny on his treks through the wilderness and was responsible for tracking and chasing prey.

Together, the three of them had explored the surrounding wilderness and kept the property safe from any threat. Donny would often sit by the campfire with his dogs, sharing stories of their wild adventures while looking up at the stars.

However, as with all living creatures, Donny, Bessy, and Teddy eventually passed away, leaving behind a permanent void in the hearts of the townspeople. Their memories lingered on, though, and everyone who had had the pleasure to know them would often speak nostalgically about the days when they roamed the lands together.

Despite the loss, the people of Gundagai recognized the important role that Donny, Bessy, and Teddy had played in their community, with many considering them the unsung heroes of the town. To honor their legacy, the townspeople erected a plaque on the local park bench, which read, "In loving memory of Donny, Bessy, and Teddy. Loyal companions and cherished friends."

Though the three of them may have departed from this world, their legend lived on, inspiring those who came after them to appreciate their bond with the animals and the surrounding wilderness.
